2001
Participants learned and practiced the modern techniques used by
scientists to investigate environmental problems with the goal of
teaching these practices in their own classrooms.

Summer Workshop:
2002
Primary source access and field trip activities were made available
to participants as they gathered material to develop lesson plans,
interdisciplinary units, and activities about Railroad Ties in the
Blackstone Valley. Resulting materials will be presented in a fall
meeting.
