On Monday, October 29, Assumption College will take part in
the sixth annual China Town Hall: Local
Connections, National Reflections, a national day of programming designed to
provide Americans across the United States and beyond the opportunity to
discuss key issues with leading experts.
Assumption will participate in a nationwide webcast of a
question and answer session with United States Ambassador to China Gary Locke
on China's rapid development and the current state of Sino-American relations.
The webcast will be presented in La Maison Auditorium at 7:30 pm and is free
and open to the public.
Assistant Professor of Management & Marketing Eric
Drouart will also be on hand to speak about China's achievements and challenges
after their entry in the WTO.
