On Monday, March 25, Assumption College's Jazz Ensemble Consortium will perform the timeless classics of legendary jazz artists Dave Brubeck, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Herbie Hancock, and Thelonious Monk. The concert starts at 7 p.m. and will be held in Kennedy Memorial Hall, Room 112.
The 13-member ensemble will perform the following classic jazz songs: "So What," by Davis (featuring senior Matthew Heard on bass); "Take Five," by Brubeck; "It Don't Mean a Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing," by Ellington (featuring senior Marie Ebacher on vocals); "Blue Monk," by Monk; "My Funny Valentine," by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart (with Ebacher on vocals); and "Watermelon Man," by Hancock.
